2010 MGA BOARD ELECTIONS
The PPMGA By-Laws outline the process for the annual election to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors.

Your Board of Directors has appointed a Nominations Committee consisting of Tom Donnelly and Jim Renz.
They are responsible for posting a list of nominations for the vacancies on the Board at least thirty (30) days prior to the annual meeting. Nominations other than those presented by the Nominations Committee must be made in writing, signed by at least twenty (20) active members in good standing of PPMGA and delivered to the Secretary no later than fifteen (15) days prior to the annual meeting. Once submitted, the names of all candidates will appear on the ballot for election.

This year, there are three (3) vacancies on the Board. Those whose terms expire from the Board in 2010 are Jim Skiver, Ward Watkins and Denny Strittmatter.

Any member who expects to be absent on the day of the elections may vote by absentee ballot. Notice for the need of an absentee ballot must be given at least seven (7) days prior to the election and the ballot returned to the Nominations Committee at least two (2) days prior to the election.
The By-Laws specify that the annual meeting is to be held on the third Wednesday in March. This years Annual Meeting will be on March 17th and the new Board Member terms begin on April 1st.

PRESIDENT'S CUP FEBRUARY 17, 2010
The 2010 President's Cup is now posted and available for member sign up. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 and will take the place of the normal monthly luncheon event.

The fee for the event will remain at $16.50 and will include lunch, beer and prizes with the prize pool being incremented by the PPMGA. This is one of our special events for the year and winners will be recognized on the plaque posted in the pro shop.

Please sign up on the bulletin board. This is a team event and you may sign up as a team, partial team or as an individual. All individuals and partial teams will be paired up at the end of the sign up period.
